Sourcing Alliance is a group purchasing organization (GPO) that provides cooperative purchasing contracts to private companies, public sector entities, and non-profit organizations. We follow an intensive procurement process (which typically exceeds the internal procurement standards our members have to follow) in designing each of our program specifications, soliciting and scoring competitive proposals from numerous suppliers, and selecting the supplier that conclusively demonstrates it will provide the best overall value to our members.
As a member, you choose which of our cooperative purchasing contracts you want to use and transact directly with the vendor behind your contract of choice. The key is that you receive our pricing discounts and favorable contract terms when making your purchases, and you don’t have to invest time and energy in conducting your own procurement processes because our team of procurement specialists has already done all the heavy lifting for you.
What does that mean for you? You can confidently purchase through our agreements, save time and money, and remain in full compliance with your internal procurement requirements.
What if My Team Has Legal Questions?
We help you navigate procurement and other legal questions on a daily basis. For each already-procured master contract, we develop a summary of the procurement process that you can access upon request. These summaries address three core questions:
- Why did we develop the program?
- How did we procure the awarded master contract?
- Why did we award the master contract to the selected supplier?
Does Sourcing Alliance also Offer Negotiated Master Contracts?
Yes. Our negotiated master contracts also follow a rigorous procurement process, but do not have to meet the same legal standards sometimes required by our public sector members.
